Tracking Production and Updating Body
Shop Customers is easier and affordable with Customer Status LinkTM
October 30, 2006 Wellington Florida, Arthur B. Dahm, President of
Automotive Disciplines, Inc. announced the release of his company's
newest body shop management software product. Customer Status
LinkTM was designed by Automotive Disciplines, Inc. in
conjunction with
its software architect I/O Technologies, Inc.
"We designed Customer Status LinkTM for several important
market driven
reasons. Many small to medium sized body shops both new car
dealer and independent, wanted an easy affordable way to track
production activities not costing tens of thousand of dollars and in
the most basic and fundamental manner possible. They also wanted the
ability to daily update the vehicle owner and insurance company of the
repair status. Additionally, today's customers as well as
insurance companies want more follow up during the repair
process. Some insurance companies already require or will require
shops to have some form of electronic customer update system in order
to participate in their DRP program. We believe we have hit the
mark with this exciting new product that gives a shop the means to
track vehicles through the repair process and keep customers updated
for a cost of under $10 per day", said Art Dahm the company's Owner and
President.
When asked for an overview of the system Art explained, "The highlight
of the system is its ability to send repair status data directly from
the shops customer file to the ADI web server which happens
automatically. With the shop connected to our web server, the
customer and/or insurance company can access the status of the vehicle
as well as any text message left by the shops Customer Service Rep.,
24-7. The customer can also respond to the shop with text messages from
this site 24-7. This type of updating can and will help reduce
the number of inbound and outbound phone calls. It also ensures
that the shops customer has access to regular status updates which
should result in better CSI scores". Art added, "Customer Status LinkTM
will help shops manage and track all basic production activities
electronically. Customer Status LinkTM is a multi-user
system
with no limit to the number of workstations that a shop can network and
at no additional cost per workstation. This feature will give the shops
administrative personnel easy access to the status of each file as well
as other important customer repair data at a glance. These basic
but essential categories of production activity data will help staff
members better manage the repair process, while keeping customers and
insurance companies up to date on each vehicles repair status.
All of the systems screen data is viewed in a linear fashion, the way
in which most shop managers and owners are comfortable." Art
concluded with, "Saving time throughout the work day and making staff
members more efficient at their jobs are additional benefits of
Customer Status LinkTM. A separate Status LinkTM
feature will
also be available as an accessory to all shops currently using our
ADI's Multi-Function Tracking System Production PlusTM V 7.0
production
management system."
